It's taking everything in my power to stay up and write this. Part of me feels like I'm in college or high school again waiting until the last minute and hopefully spitting out pure brilliance at the last minute. In this case, not really because I'm basically talking about myself and just entertaining the two people reading this right now.
Unlike the past weeks, I have really been pushing myself due to being in school, committing to my blog, and working out. I am such a pro at attempting so many things, but never quite achieve what I want because I'm busy attempting one goal after another and never really completing any. I am not a quitter, but somehow I've let myself fail more times than I'm happy to be held accountable for. Just writing this makes me feel accomplished because life isn't perfect, I'm not perfect, and I don't think I will ever pretend to be.
I'm a little stressed out about passing this course, transitioning careers, and questioning everything I'm doing right now. My only saving grace is that about 90% of my friends are in the same boat and maybe theres that 10% that is just killing it at life and I'm secretly blaming it on the fact that they're like a whole year older than me.
I feel like I've let y'all down by not consistently giving my all and lacking in the posting department, but life caught up to me this week. I've officially got the flu, had to take two days off my workout, and will hopefully be back on the wagon tomorrow! I passed my course, but now it's time to kill it on the state exam in hopes of moving on to the next chapter in my life.
I try my best to stay positive, but it's also about keeping it real. I broke down over guac not being in my Chipotle burrito bowl.... because what is Chipotle without guac? While it was probs a build up of everything, this was my ultimate last straw. Sometimes we break down, sometimes we do dumb things, and react over dumb stuff. This is me owning up to that and that despite everything, I'm getting back up and not giving up. Thanks for sticking with me and stay tuned next week for updates!
