I broke my streak, y'all and I feel pretty awful about it. I'm sorry that I didn't post yesterday, but my body was just not having it. As part of my goals this year, it is my mission to keep trying new things. One of those things is going to real estate school and it is kicking my ass. It's weird being back at school, but in a good way.
What's not cool is waking up at 5 AM and trying to work out or sleeping in and still leaving the house by 7 AM. I then proceed to sit in a classroom until 6 PM to get home at 7 and do my official workout at night, feeling like a zombie and brain dead. For some, this is totally normal, but my body has been through all kinds of changes in the past 3 weeks and it's definitely taken a toll on me mentally, physically, and emotionally.
In a sense, this title makes perfect sense because I feel insane. I am one day away from completing week three of insanity and despite it not feeling any easier, I look forward to my work outs just a little. Seriously.... just a little. However, I feel better and am seeing the tiniest bit of definition. Weight wise, it hasn't affected me much but I have a feeling week 4 is going to me the magic week for me where the real changes start coming in.
A big thing that's changed this week is getting my boyfriend on board with the health kick. I may not be able to get him on the Insanity train, but eating healthy is obvi where it's at to ultimately gain the hotness status.
He's been amazing meal prepping, which I'll start posting more of once I learn how to take pretty pictures and get more free time. My one downfall is my love of sweets. Our guests left ice cream behind and I may or may not have had a bowl or two. I felt super bad, but I had Arctic Zero and it was just not cutting it for me. That is not ice cream despite its attempt.
It just so happened Matt and I headed to Whole Foods after discovering Trader Joes was out of cauliflower rice. This is where me and Halo Top met for the first time after hearing about this magical dessert through friends and forums. I took it home skeptical along with some awesome wine and figured I'd try it because let's face it, I'd probably finish it either way. I went with the birthday cake flavor and guys, there is no going back. Halo Top is where it's at! This is NOT a sponsored post although I wish it was :P because if it's free, it's for me :P
To sum it up, stay strong and thanks for all y'all being patient with me because we're on our way up together! Thanks for tuning in and I'll post up tomorrow one of the most awesome recipes we've made so far.
Have a good night!
